Jared Balog is a NYC-based special make up effects artist with over 10 years of experience working in the industry.

At the age of 12, Jared was selected for a make up effects correspondence course with the legendary Dick Smith. This educational experience greatly influenced his decision to pursue special make up effects upon graduation from high school.

He is self-taught and his passion for the craft is evident in the skills he has developed through set and shop work.

Jared continues to bring a dedicated focus to the amalgamation of fantasy and reality with every project he is involved with. He welcomes every opportunity to explore creative frontiers and looks forward to every new challenge.
